The Colour Pallet i will use for my magazine consists of Black and white. After this i may choose to use red or yellow as my third colour or i will just stick with just black and white. Even though this would mean i don't have a three colour pallet, which is a convention of magazines, I feel it can work well from my what i have seen throughout doing my research on existing magazine covers. (below)
These colours are chosen as they are smart i think they can help to give my magazine the classy, more expensive look that i am aiming for. If i choose to include colour other than the standard black and white it will only be for headers to make them stand out on the page. However out of the magazines shown above i believe that the complex one has a more intriguing look about it.
Most magazines use a 3 colour palette as it looks professional but i find that black and white can be just as appealing to my target market.White will give a good background that anything stands out on and it is very fresh as a base colour. any more than three colour breaks the rule and would not look right as the page would be out of balance.
